Thyrsus

In the mythology of the Greek world the Thyrsus is a rod or stick lined with vine or ivy and topped by a pine cone. It was the symbol used in the celebrations that were made in honor of the god Dionysius or Bacchus. It is also related to the magic wand of spells and vertical axial symbols.

This work was done for a wine labeling contest. The name and concept are developed by me. An investigation was carried out that approached from the origins of the wine until our days, endowing the brand with personality and a strong graphic coherence.
